Jewelry Industry Strategic Analyst
Phyllis Bergman was President of Mercury Ring Corporation for 32 years, overseeing all aspects of the company, including sales, design, operations, marketing, and client relations. Next, she plans to start a new business that will “help other companies to analyze, strategize, innovate, and connect in the international jewelry industry.”
In February 2007 Ms. Bergman was named ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’, by Enterprising Women Magazine, and in November of that same year Mercury Ring became the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council. Most recently Bergman has been named the first female chairperson for the Jewelers Board of Trade.
Ms. Bergman serves as a member of the Board of Directors for a number of organizations. She serves as an executive committee member of the Board of Directors of Diamond Empowerment. She also serves on the board for Jewelers Board of Trade, the American Gem Society, the Women’s Jewelry Organization, the 24 Karat Club of New York , and the Jewelers Vigilance Committee. Ms. Bergman is also a lifetime member of Brandeis University, a recipient of the Women’s Jewelery Association Manufacturer of the Year Award, and a Women’s Jewelry Association Hall of Fame inductee.Our Board & Staff
