New York, NY; March 19, 2023 – Recipients of 2023’s Diamonds Do Good Awards include De Beers, Rosy Blue, Valérie Messika, and Lorraine West. The Awards will be presented at Diamonds Do Good’s annual gala on June 1st at the Venetian Hotel, Palazzo Ballroom, Las Vegas, NV.

 “The Diamond Do Good Awards recognizes leaders who understand the interconnectedness between building a successful business, having a social purpose and caring for community” says Anna Martin, President of Diamonds Do Good, “each Honoree exemplifies the tenet that ‘Doing Good is Good Business’.”

De Beers Group: The GOOD Award

DDG’s Highest Honor, The GOOD Award recognizes De Beers’ commitment to create lasting positive impact for the people and places where natural diamonds are found. The Building Forever promise illuminates De Beers’ core value of being a responsible corporate citizen guided by purpose-driven policies and programs and keeping this promise with new leadership.

Rosy Blue: The Visionary Award

Diamonds Do Good’s Visionary Award recognizes Rosy Blue’s pioneering leadership as early adopters to incorporate social, environmental, economic, and ethical factors into their corporate strategic decision-making process. By being the first Indian manufacturer to sign on to the Global Reporting Initiative, leading the way by joining the UN Global Compact, and creating social good in communities where they do business through their Foundation, Rosy Blue demonstrates how being a successful business includes being a caring Global Citizen.

Valérie Messika: The NextGen Award

Daughter of the famous diamond merchant André Messika, Valérie established Maison Messika in 2005. Her talent and innovativeness to create diamond jewelry with a youthfulness and cool factor has inspired a whole new generation to fall in love with natural diamonds.  Valérie is also inspiring this new generation to take action and make a difference in the world through her Fondation Valérie Messika.

Lorraine West: The Inspiration Award

Diamonds Do Good’s Inspiration Award recognizes Lorraine’s talent, perseverance and achievements in the diamond and jewelry industry.  The passion and thoughtfulness she pours into her designs are reflective of her own generous nature seen in the mentorship and collaboration with other designers, taking action on causes dear to her heart, and working to bring more equity and representation to the diamond and jewelry industry.
