Nandan S. is pursuing his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering at the Arham Veerayatan Institute of Engineering, Technology & Research. He is the son of a tailor in Sukhpar, a small village in the district of Kutch. Nandan’s father is also physically challenged; he cannot hear or speak, but he manages to earn about 30,000 Indian Rupee to support his family. However, this amount isn’t enough to also support his son’s education.
Given his hardships, Veerayatan provided Nandan with the opportunity to study engineering free of cost so that he could fulfill his dream of landing a reputed job in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Nandan is determined to do well and become a good engineer in the future.
