EK Jewelers, a local jewelry store in Gillette, Wyoming, has stepped up to help local restaurants in their community make ends meet.

During the state’s shelter-in-orders, restaurants are closing dining rooms and depend on take-out orders to pay the bills—forcing them to cut hours or layoff their employees.

In order to help their community, Erica Kissack, the owner of EK Jewelers, is auctioning off pieces of jewelry on Facebook.  When the sale is made, 30% of the proceeds will be directly donated to their “restaurant of the day.”

The hope is that their donations will help the restaurant pay for their employee’s groceries or bills.
