I am Abdoul Aziz Sandotin Coulibaly, a 17 year-old student from Cote D’Ivoire.Screen Shot 2015-01-20 at 2.49.46 PM

For the few months that I have spent in this school, I knew many things that I could not know about. First of all I discovered a lot of potentiality in my and some skills with the entrepreneurial leadership class, I learned also about Africa and my country with the African studies class.

Furthermore, I got lots of experiences with my fellows by one of our values: Diversity. I got also a leadership role as a member of the student government as Tana house captain for my first time and also to have been Unsung Hero for the month of October 2014. I also joined the mathematics’ club and also diversify my activities by sport because I didn’t use to do that.

Also in the academic side, I got some amazing teachers such as Mr. Veda, Madam Kruger and Miss Osibudu who encouraged me to keep working and helped me to improve my capacities. For the ALA staff like Miss Wilson and Miss Suzanne, I get some really good advice about the subjects that I need to choose, which would lead by life well.

ALA had made a valuable experience for me in a way that it prepares me to the real life, it “builds” me to be an agent for a positive change who could make something for the growth of our dear continent: Africa.

Again, I am grateful to you for this great opportunity you gave me, you gave to a family and a nation.
